About Tirthraj

I am a dedicated and high-achieving Accounting and Economics high-school graduate with A* results in both IGCSE and A Level, driven by a genuine passion for understanding how businesses operate and how economic decisions shape the world around us. My strong academic performance earned me a place in the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Computer Science at Monash University — a testament to both my discipline and academic capability.

Accounting and Economics have never just been subjects to me; they are problem-solving tools. I enjoy breaking down complex financial concepts, analyzing patterns, and finding logical solutions — and this is exactly how I teach. My goal is not only to help students memorize content, but to help them truly understand it so they can approach exams with confidence and clarity.

As a former Accounting Club student leader, I have experience guiding peers, explaining difficult topics in simple terms, and creating a supportive learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently, and I am patient, structured, and fully committed to helping each student overcome their individual challenges.

I take professionalism seriously — I prepare thoroughly for every lesson, tailor sessions to the student’s syllabus, and focus on results. I am passionate about helping students move from confusion to confidence, from hesitation to mastery. When a student succeeds, it is a shared achievement, and I am fully dedicated to making that happen.

About the lesson

I offer focused and results-driven online tutoring for Year 10–12 students (ages 14–18) studying high school Accounting or Economics in Australia.

As a former Accounting Club student leader, I combine strong academic achievement with leadership experience and peer mentoring skills. I understand what examiners look for and how to help students move from simply “knowing” content to confidently applying it under exam conditions.

My teaching methodology is built on:

* Mastering core concepts first — because strong fundamentals solve complex questions
* Breaking down common exam “tricks” and patterns students often miss
* Practicing real-style exam questions with structured techniques
* Teaching clear, step-by-step answering methods that maximise marks

Lessons are typically one hour long, with the option to extend based on availability and student needs. Each session is structured, interactive, and tailored to the student’s syllabus and goals.
