About Danny Bala

Hello! My name is Danny, and I am a final-year medical student at the Medical University of Plovdiv. Throughout my time in medical school, I have developed effective exam strategies, efficient study techniques, and a structured approach to learning that makes even the most challenging medical concepts easier to understand. My teaching focuses on helping students truly grasp concepts, apply them to real clinical practice, and retain knowledge through understanding rather than memorisation.

Academically, I have maintained a GPA of 5.62/6.00 without failing a single examination. I have also been honoured with the University's Academic Rector's Award on two occasions in recognition of my academic performance. Alongside my studies, I have contributed to medical research as a co-author of two publications in Radiology and one publication in Hospital Hygiene.

I firmly believe that the quality of studying is far more important than the quantity. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, develop effective study habits, and achieve their full academic potential.

About the lesson

My teaching focuses on building genuine understanding rather than memorization. I simplify complex medical concepts using diagrams, clinical examples, active recall, and exam-style questions to help students retain information and apply it confidently.

Every lesson is tailored to the student's learning style, strengths, and goals. Sessions typically last 60 minutes, with longer sessions available if required. As a final-year medical student, I have extensive experience studying both pre-clinical and clinical medicine and understand the challenges medical students face.

My lessons are ideal for pre-med students, medical students in any year, and anyone looking to strengthen their knowledge or prepare for exams, OSCEs, or viva assessments.
