About Weline
I have more than 7 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am passionate about helping them grow as skilled and expressive musicians. My teaching style is student-centered, creative, and adaptable, allowing each learner to progress comfortably and confidently.
I focus on building a solid foundation in piano technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory. To keep lessons interesting, I use innovative methods such as improvisation exercises, music composition, and blending classical and modern styles.
I also help students develop performance confidence and emotional expression in their playing. I strive to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to learn, explore, and enjoy music. My mission is to help students master piano skills while developing a lifelong love for music.

My piano teaching approach is creative, structured, and student-focused. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, inspiring, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring different music styles, learning favorite songs, and practicing simple improvisation. This allows students to express themselves freely and stay motivated.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in clear, easy-to-understand steps. Students learn to reflect on their playing and correct mistakes independently.
Accountability is a core part of my teaching. I help students set achievable goals, maintain consistent practice routines, and review progress regularly. This builds discipline and confidence.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, keyboard coordination, and basic composition to support complete musical development.
