About Zorina

Hey there! I'm Zorina, and I've been on an incredible artistic journey that I can't wait to share with you.

Imagine a little 3-year-old me, crayon in hand, making my first colorful scribbles. Fast forward to age 11, when I picked up a paintbrush and felt like I'd found magic. That spark never faded—it only grew brighter!

My passion led me to the prestigious Parsons School of Design, where I honed my skills and expanded my creative horizons. After graduating, I dove into the fast-paced world of fashion, designing for big names like Kate Spade and Aritzia. Cool, right?

But here's the thing: while fashion was exciting, my heart always belonged to fine art. Painting isn't just something I do—it's how I speak to the world. My artwork explores the wild ride of growing up and figuring out this whole "adulting" thing. (Trust me, it's an adventure worth painting about!)

Whether you're a kiddo just starting to explore the colorful world of art, or a grown-up looking to reconnect with your creative side, I'm here to guide you. I've got the professional chops to teach you all the fancy techniques, but more importantly, I remember what it's like to be that kid filled with wonder at a blank canvas.

So, are you ready to make some art magic together? Let's pick up those brushes and create something amazing!

About the lesson

Unleash Your Artistic Potential: A Painting Journey That's Uniquely You

As a passionate painting tutor and Parsons School of Design graduate, I don't just teach technique—I ignite creativity and nurture your unique artistic voice. My approach is all about helping you break free from constraints and express yourself authentically through paint, while still mastering the essential skills that will elevate your work.

Imagine a learning experience where your individuality isn't just accepted, but celebrated. That's what I offer. Whether you're a complete novice or an intermediate artist looking to push boundaries, I create a vibrant, judgment-free zone where experimentation is encouraged and mistakes are seen as stepping stones to greatness.

Yes, we'll cover the fundamentals—composition, color theory, brush techniques—but always with an eye towards how you can bend and break these rules to create something truly original. From hyper-realistic portraits to wild, abstract explosions of color, I'll guide you through a diverse range of styles, helping you find the ones that resonate with your inner artist.

My lessons are a creative playground for all ages. Children will discover the joy of uninhibited expression, while adults can reconnect with their artistic side, free from the pressures of perfectionism. Whether you're painting for pure enjoyment or harboring dreams of a creative career, I'm here to fan the flames of your passion and equip you with the skills to bring your visions to life.
