About Falin

I studied Biomedical Science, and along the way, I realized that I genuinely enjoy helping people understand things that once felt confusing or difficult.

I know how it feels to look at a Science or Math question and feel completely lost. Sometimes, the problem is not that the student is weak, it is just that the topic has not been explained in a way that makes sense to them yet. That is the kind of tutor I try to be; patient, clear, and encouraging.

When I teach, I like to connect lessons to real-life examples so students can see the story behind what they are learning. I want them to understand the “why”, not just memorize the answer.

My goal is to help students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and slowly build their confidence. More than just preparing for exams, I hope my students can start to see that Science and Math can actually be interesting, meaningful, and even fun.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is friendly, supportive and student-centered. I believe students understand better when a topic is not taught as isolated facts, but as a story that connects to real life.

My teaching method focuses on making difficult topics simple, relatable and meaningful. I like to explain the “why” behind a concept, show how it connects to everyday situations, and guide students through the topic in a clear flow. This helps students understand the subject instead of just memorizing it for exams.

Once the concept is clear, I guide students through examples, practice questions and exam-style exercises. I also encourage students to ask questions freely, because I want them to feel comfortable, supported and confident during lessons.

A typical lesson is usually 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s level, attention span and learning needs.

I am a Biomedical Science graduate with experience tutoring Science, Biology and Mathematics. I am also currently working in the corporate and HR field, where communication, training and people development are part of my work.

My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students who need help with Science, Biology or Mathematics, including revision, homework guidance, exam preparation and strengthening basic concepts.
