About Anna
I work with people who feel a lot in their inner world—whether that shows up as anxiety, overthinking, disconnection from the body, or going through deeper emotional or spiritual processes.
Many of my clients come from meditation or personal growth paths and still find themselves feeling tense, stuck in their thoughts, or not fully at home in their body. My work offers a way to gently reconnect—without forcing or overwhelming the system.
I bring a calm, structured, and deeply attuned presence. People often notice they feel more grounded and at ease simply being in the space.
My background includes over 20 years of movement practice as a dancer, along with training in somatic psychology, mindfulness, and movement-based approaches informed by Body-Mind Centering. I’ve also worked closely with my own process of integrating intense emotional and spiritual experiences, which allows me to support others in a steady and non-judgmental way.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to help you build a more stable relationship with your body—so you can regulate yourself, feel more present, and move through life with greater ease and clarity.

Sessions are gentle, structured, and adapted to your pace. You don’t need any prior experience with movement or somatic work.
We usually begin with a simple check-in, followed by guided exploration of your body through awareness and slow, intuitive movement.
This may include:
• noticing sensations like tension, breath, and internal support
• mirroring and authentic movement to build connection and expression
• guided attention to different body systems (bones, muscles, patterns like head–tail)
The focus is not on how movement looks, but on how it feels from within.
Throughout the session, I pay close attention to your nervous system, making sure you feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. There is space to pause, adjust, and integrate at any moment.
By the end of a session, many people feel:
• calmer and more grounded
• less stuck in their thoughts
• more connected to their body
• less self-conscious and more at ease in movement
Over time, you’ll also learn simple tools you can use on your own to regulate your nervous system in daily life—so you’re not dependent on sessions to feel better.

Perfect! I felt instantly at ease with Anna from the first session. She has a warm, grounded presence and deep experience in both somatic movement and mindfulness practice, which comes through in how she holds space. The sessions reliably produce a surprisingly positive shift in my nervous system and mood. If you haven't attended one of Anya's somatic movement workshops, you better start moving in this direction! Anya's approach feels very expansive and inclusive. Anna has facilitated somatic sessions for a variety of wellness/ connection based workshops I've attended.
I'm always surprised and impressed by how different I feel after. I sometimes feel awkward around body/movement based practices, but I've noticed that following her sessions I feel much less inhibited in the moment.
Once they're done, I feel way more present, every single time. She also makes it fun by incorporating music and art.

Anna is a dynamic and connective movement teacher. I have experienced her teaching after seated meditation. She seamlessly transformed the energy from meditation into a full-body mindfulness experience. The movements she leads feel spontaneous and appropriate for the moment. Anna teaches from a kind and grounded place, which made me feel welcome and able to share more of my experience.
I have a hard time not feeling self conscious about somatic movement when practicing in a group but I’m slowly learning with Anna’s help to practice it any way and pause when I’m not comfortable doing something. It’s helping me let go of some rigidity and get curious about being connected, with gentleness and awareness, to my body. I’m thankful for her leadership in somatic practices. We had fun learning about our bones and exploring them one week!
I recently attended a retreat where Anna was one of the facilitators. She did a great job of reading the group, and giving us exactly “what” we needed, “when” we needed it. Thank you Anna!
In doing this somatic time with Anna, I have noticed that I am discovering a better relationship with my body. I find I am much looser, less self-conscious, and have an internal feeling of freedom. In today's session, I could feel the movements in a new way—without my brain. I was sensing my deeper self as part of my body—something that has not happened before. This is a much lighter way of being, as somehow the movements shed the heaviness that I sadly carry in myself.
Anna is a really good somatic coach. I've done both private and group sessions with her. She keeps it fun and makes individualized adjustments. I highly recommend her!
I love classes with Anna! I took pole and flexibility classes with her, she was very attentive and skillful at guiding me through my pole journey. i was skeptical about online classes first, but it turned out to be very convenient taking classes from home. highly recommend her classes for fun and professional workout !
Great teacher with unique techniques
Anna is a wonderful pole teacher. She is very responsive and easy to coordinate with. She always has a great lesson planned complete with warm ups and cool downs. She teaches tricks and more flow like dance moves as well. Highly recommended :)
