About Victoria
I have been teaching for fifty years and tutoring formally for forty. I have a BSc, BA Honors Math, BA Languages and Linguistics, and MA Education. I try to form a good working relationship with my students; many stay on for several years as we work through difficulties and upgrade their skills so they excel. My lessons appear casual and conversational for the most part. We are relaxed and have fun, but we cover a lot of serious material. I have also worked with several students with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and am willing to struggle through the challenges with them.

My content is very exact and detailed, while my personal style is extremely relaxed and casual. We discuss all sorts of things and students can ask any questions they want, while we work through a planned sequence of learning objectives. I use a number of books which complement each other, with stories, grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, and conversation. We use French as much as possible to communicate. I have worked with students with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and am ready to provide individualized programs.
