About Bethany
I am a final year French student at the University of Newcastle. I came back from France in March after living there for seven months. I have tutored on and off since I was 17 and now regularly tutor two students, one aged 7 and one 14. I have also taught some lessons in schools to a variety of ages.

I give lessons from beginner Level to GCSE.
The lessons are tailored to each student, based on their personal goals and to formal qualifications if needed (eg the GCSE specification).
I plan all the lessons myself and deliver them online via Zoom. The first 10 minutes or so of a lesson will be recapping what we did previously and answering any questions. Then we move onto the next topic/more exercises if the student is ready. It is very much at their own pace but I do try to push them when appropriate to unlock their full potential. I also place heavy emphasis on improving each student's confidence too as this is key to language learning and often overlooked in school contexts, so the one-to-one nature of tutoring can really develop this.
I also provide personalised reference notes on a Google Doc for the student to keep with them.

Due to me planning lessons beforehand, any cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson will result in a charge of £5. Cancellation more than 24 hours before is without fee.
