About Laura
As a physics student, I've always had a passion for the subject, and I want to share this passion with others.
I also know that a traditional class setting doesn't work for everyone. Whether it's distractions within the classroom, not enough individual support or anxiety contributing to a class discussion, many factors make one to one tuition better for some students. My goal is to provide a safe space to listen to my student's needs to best provide a lesson and give them the step up they deserve.

Hi my name is Laura and I am currently a Physics student in Exeter. My experience includes tutoring through the national tutoring programme, and have an enhanced dbs certificate. Most of my experience is with GCSE students but I have taught students from primary school up to AS-level.
I like to tailor my teaching method to each student, and focus on what their individual needs are. This could be having difficulty with certain topics or skills within maths and physics, or it could be building confidence to answer questions, or simply focusing on exam technique.
I like to take a calm and friendly approach and really aim to build my students confidence with these sometimes daunting subjects.
I offer hour lessons and am available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and weekends.
