About Christian
My name is Christian Tedesco and I am a junior at Elon University, where I am studying Finance and Accounting. I am very comfortable working through complex math problems and have a solid background in calculus, having taken it in both high school and college. In addition to that, I have a year of experience tutoring college-level Calculus 1. When tutoring, I strive to be very organized and focused so the students I work with can fully understand the material and feel comfortable applying calculus concepts on their own.

I usually work with college students who are struggling in their Calculus 1 classes, but I am open to with anyone struggling with this math. As a tutor I always like to be engaged and hands on. Prior to each session I would email the student for a brief overview of the areas they are struggling with and would like to cover so that I fully prepare myself. In our lesson, I begin by having the student work through a couple of problems independently so that I can identify the mistakes and confusions. Once I figure those out, I walk the student through other similar problems while consistency throwing out questions to ensure they understand. At the end I always like to prepare a few practice problems the student can do independently so that I know they fully learned and understood how to work through the problems.
