Find out more about Moe

  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I developed an interest in my chosen field, teaching, at a very young age. I have always had a passion for learning and helping others understand complex concepts. I believe that being a teacher is not only a job but a mission, and I am happy to be a part of it. My love for teaching grew stronger when I started to help my friends and siblings with their studies, and their success stories motivated me to pursue teaching as a career. I saw how much of a difference a good teacher can make in a student's life and it made me realize that this is the career path I wanted to take.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

My passion for my subject stems from the feeling of satisfaction that comes with helping others understand and succeed in it. I have always been fascinated by the way mathematics can be used to explain and solve real-world problems, and I enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces for my students. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in seeing the progress and growth of my students as they gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Teaching mathematics is not only my job but also my hobby. I love helping people to learn and grow by teaching them the subject I love.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

I appreciate the one-on-one interaction and the opportunity to tailor my teaching approach to the individual needs of each student when tutoring. I believe that every student has their own unique learning style and it's my duty to find the best approach for each student. I also enjoy the ability to see firsthand the progress and success of my students as they gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
As a "superprof", I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the subject, but also a strong dedication to the student's success. I am patient, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help students reach their goals. Additionally, I continuously strive to improve and update my teaching methods to ensure that my students are receiving the most effective and current instruction.
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Yes, I have had several teachers throughout my education who have inspired and impacted me in a positive way. One of my role models is a high school math teacher who was able to make the subject come alive for me. He was able to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand and he also used real-world examples to show how the math we were learning could be applied in our daily lives. He was also a great motivator, encouraging me to push myself and strive for excellence. He inspired me to pursue a career in teaching and I strive to emulate his dedication, passion, and teaching style in my own teaching career.
  • What are your keys to success?

My keys to success as a tutor include:
Continuously updating my knowledge and skills in my subject area to ensure that my students receive current and effective instruction.
Building strong relationships with my students and understanding their unique learning styles to tailor my teaching approach to their individual needs.
Being patient and supportive, and going the extra mile to help students reach their goals.
Being a role model for my students, not only in terms of academic knowledge but also in terms of character and ethics.
Setting clear and measurable goals for myself and my students, and regularly assessing progress, and making adjustments as needed.
Constantly looking for new and innovative ways to make learning fun, interactive and engaging.
Being able to communicate effectively and clearly with my students, parents, and colleagues.
Being well-organized and have excellent time management skills, to be able to plan and execute my lesson effectively.
