About Aaron
I’m a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, where I built a strong foundation in performance, technique, and musical exploration. Over the years, I’ve been active in the music scenes of Cleveland, New York City, upstate New York, and New Jersey, performing and collaborating across a wide range of styles — from jazz, experimental music, and free improvisation to Afro-Cuban and Brazilian traditions, rock, and hip-hop. In our lessons, I focus on helping each student find their own musical voice while developing solid technique, groove, and listening skills. Whether you’re looking to expand your creativity, strengthen your ensemble playing, or feel more confident behind the kit, I strive to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can grow and explore your musicianship.
