About Troy
As a singer and educator with 7 years of experience and a Doctorate in Vocal Performance, I approach teaching as an art of awareness. My sessions are a space for adult learners to breathe, explore, and rediscover their voices. Singing should feel free, not forced. Breathwork, posture, and mindfulness guide everything we do. Together, we focus on how the body supports sound and how relaxation creates resonance. I work with those who sing in choirs, karaoke nights, or just for themselves. The atmosphere is gentle, supportive, and open. You’ll explore genres from Jazz to Folk, Blues to Contemporary Adult. My goal is to help each student sing with authenticity and ease. Over time, you’ll notice more than vocal growth—you’ll feel calmer and more confident. Singing becomes a meditation, a moment of care for yourself. Let’s find the music that feels like you.

This methodology is built on the idea that healthy singing begins with awareness. Students are taught to notice how the body supports every sound. Breathwork, relaxation, and mindfulness form the foundation of training. Lessons emphasize building stamina gradually, avoiding strain, and balancing rest with effort. Singers preparing for tours learn how to manage energy and prevent burnout. Those performing regularly in ensembles receive tools for long-term vocal maintenance. Pre- and post-performance care is part of every plan. Hydration, rest, and mindful breathing are treated as essential habits. The focus is never on pushing harder but on singing smarter. Each exercise builds flexibility, not fatigue. The goal is to help singers find both endurance and peace in their craft. A sustainable voice is a confident one. Preserve your voice, and you preserve your art.
