About Shravya

My approach is personalized to each student, focusing on engagement, progress, and preparation for middle school Spanish. I am committed to providing a professional and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, lighthearted, and confident in their language skills.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish to 4th and 5th graders to give them a head start before middle school. I have completed high school Spanish and have over a year of tutoring experience, including teaching students for free through another program.

My teaching method focuses on listening, reading, writing, and interactive activities to help students understand spoken Spanish, practice conversations, and build confidence. Lessons are personalized to each student’s pace and learning style, making them engaging and effective.

A typical lesson begins with a warm-up activity, which we review together. I then introduce the new lesson, providing structured notes for the student to take. Afterward, we play a game or activity to reinforce the material and check understanding. This also helps me plan future lessons based on each student’s progress. I usually do not assign homework unless a student needs extra practice.

What sets me apart is that my lessons are designed purely to help students get ahead and feel fully prepared for middle school Spanish classes, combining structured teaching with interactive, fun learning.
