About Talia
I’m Talia, a First Class Biomedical Science graduate with a strong background in Science, Math, and English. I’ve always loved learning about how things work and helping others understand them too — that’s what inspired me to start tutoring. I believe everyone learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is the right explanation or a bit more patience for things to finally click. Seeing that “lightbulb moment” when a student gains confidence in something they once struggled with is exactly why I teach. As a tutor, I’m friendly, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping my students reach their goals. I want every student I work with to feel capable, confident, and proud of their progress — whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or simply feeling more confident in class.

Hi, I’m Talia — a First Class Biomedical Science graduate with a real passion for helping students actually understand and enjoy Maths. My lessons are all about making things click in a way that suits you. I take a fun, flexible approach and always personalise each session to your needs and learning style. Each lesson lasts 55 minutes, giving us plenty of time to focus on one topic properly without feeling rushed. I like to go over concepts step by step until they make complete sense, rather than rushing through loads of material at once. I teach Maths for students aged 7 to 18, from building confidence in the basics to preparing for exams. Whether you’re finding certain topics tricky or aiming for top marks, I’ll help you build a strong understanding, boost your confidence, and maybe even start to enjoy Maths along the way!
