About Annabel
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated young professional with a genuine passion for building students' confidence when it comes to maths.
I have always loved maths, statistics and computer science. This passion has driven my academic success and ultimately led me to my career as a Data Analyst, where I get to practise and apply these exact skills in the real-world every single day.
I know how daunting maths can feel and how difficult it is to build confidence, and I love helping students experience that 'lightbulb moment' when a tricky concept finally clicks.
Outside of my full-time job and tutoring, I enjoy staying active by running, socialising with friends and long walks with my dog!

I offer structured, 1 hour tutoring sessions tailored to each student's unique needs, for GCSE and A-level maths.
My goal is to ensure students don't just memorise answers, but have a deep understanding of the step-by-step workings required to get there.
Together we will focus on:
- Concept clarity: breaking down daunting topics into simple, manageable steps.
- Exam technique & homework: working through past papers and school homework to build confidence under exam conditions.
- Problem-solving skills: turning mistakes into learning opportunities, so students feel empowered to tackle unfamiliar questions.
I achieved high grades in my GCSE and A-level exam results including A/A* in Maths and have since earned a First-Class BSc in Mathematics and an MSc with Distinction in Data Science.
Today, I work full-time as a Data Analyst for a leading law firm. Because I apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems every single day, I can show students exactly why maths matters.
I bring a patient and encouraging approach to every lesson, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
