About David
I was awarded First Class Honours in Philosophy, Politics and Economics by the University of Oxford in 2020, having specialised in philosophy and politics. I am particularly interested in Plato, ethics, political philosophy and the philosophy of religion. I have previously tutored economics and religious studies, and all of my students have received A*s.

I prioritise engagement and understanding. With understanding of topics, students will be able to conduct independent learning and revision more effectively. My sessions are always designed to be engaging, to encourage independent thought and constructive discussion. I take inspiration from the Oxford tutorial system to encourage analytical thinking, and not just rote learning (though rote learning, of course, has its place in the modern education system).
