About Deedan
I am a first year medical student at Hull York Medical School.
I understand GCSEs and A-Levels can be incredibly daunting and find having somebody to rely on, be that a teacher or a tutor to be reassuring.
I believe it to be a much more effective use of a student's time and hope to instil confidence in them.
I also want to tutor to instil a love for learning in students that they can carry on throughout their lives.

1st year medical student at Hull York Medical School who achieved A* AA and (concealed information)
I tutor in GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Sociology as well as Biology, Chemistry and Sociology.
I first ask for an overview of how comfortable a student is with different parts of the course, consolidate their previous knowledge by implementing spaced repetition for them to make their revision easier.
I then allocate time according to strength, ensuring that trickier topics and high yield topics are prioritised.
I also aim to work around students' needs and always listen to what pace and methods are appropriate for them, tailoring my teaching to instil utmost confidence and achieve the best grades.
