About Matthias
Hi, I’m Matthias. I know what it’s like to struggle, and I also know the thrill of overcoming challenges and excelling. I help students build confidence, master difficult concepts, and achieve their best results. I scored AAA at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, achieved 998 at GCSE, and received offers from four medical schools. I also guide aspiring medics with personal statements, UCAT prep, and interview coaching. My lessons are focused, engaging, and tailored to you—designed to make learning enjoyable, motivating, and deeply rewarding. Outside of tutoring, I love sports, running, DJing, films, and reading—and I bring that same curiosity and energy into every session.

Whether it’s a one-hour session or a longer 2-hour deep dive, I aim to make challenging topics approachable and even enjoyable. For students aged 11–18 (GCSE and A-level), I provide patient guidance, clear explanations, and encouragement that turns frustration into confidence. I also support aspiring medical students with personal statement advice, UCAT preparation, and interview coaching — drawing on my own experience securing a UCAT score in the top 13% (87th percentile) and offers from 4/4 medical schools. Students leave my lessons feeling motivated, supported, and equipped to tackle challenges step by step, turning learning into achievement.
