About Manuel
As flamenco educator with over 20 years of experience, I have developed an easy and enjoyable guitar method to motivate students and to raise willing to learn. With me you will start playing flamenco guitar from day one.
If you are a beginner, we will start to understand basic rhythms (compás) and pieces (falsetas), so you begin to understand this world.
If you are a more advance player, we could learn how to accompanion flamenco dancers (bailaor/a) and singer (cantaor/a). We could also learn more complex falsetas or even learn new palos (among the approximately 50 existent).
Furthermore, I have helped professional classical players to introduce and understand flamenco.
Would you like to understand the implicit language between tocaor (guitarist), bailaor and cantaor? I will show you different spectacles recordings and explain you the different parts in detail and its meaning.
Furthermore, I have also worked as flamenco advisor for film makers and I have recorded multiple music for tv and radio spots. Therefore, I could support you in creating your own espectacle.

With the company "La cuadra Sevilla", founded 1971, I have played flamenco espectacles since 1897. The company has run more than 3500 espectacles in 150 international festivals in 35 countries. With our espectacles, we have helped to bring Andalusian culture and emotion closer to more than 2.000.000 people. Through all that years, I also had the opportunity to accompany with the guitar artists like Montserrat Caballé, Paco Palacios “El Pali”, María del Monte, Cantores de Híspalis, Ecos del Rocío, Los Romeros de la Puebla, El Mistela, Lalo tejada, Paco toronjo y El Cabrero.
As flamenco educator, I count with over 20 years of experience. For several years, I have worked as a teacher at "Taller Flamenco" in Sevilla. This center is focused in transmitting flamenco to student from around the world.
Moreover, I compose music for TV and Radio.
