About Katrine
After living in Chile for a year and learning Spanish, I got a taste for the language. Spanish has played an important role in my life, to communicate with people around the world. On trips in Spain as well as in Latin America, Spanish has been a gift that has contributed to a deeper understanding of different cultures. That is why I would like to help spread the Spanish language and inspire others to either learn Spanish or develop the Spanish they already know.

My starting point is to create a safe environment where the student has the opportunity to speak Spanish and develop their language skills. At the same time, there will be a focus on Spanish grammar and meeting the high school requirements for Spanish. At the same time, I will do small writing tasks to train the writing skills. Knowledge about the culture, music, and eating habits of the Spanish-speaking countries, etc. will be included as part of the teaching. This can be supported by videos and films where the student is encouraged to write about the content. The teaching is intended to be a professional, exciting and educational forum where the student develops their Spanish language. It is important to me to establish good communication between teacher and student, therefore the teaching will vary based on the student's interests and wishes.
I lived in Chile for a year and learned Spanish during my exchange stay. Subsequently, I have traveled back to Chile and Argentina several times, but plan to see more parts of Latin America. I have a secondary education where I had Spanish at A level in the high school system of Denmark and finished Spanish on self-study after one year. Therefore, I have become very familiar with what the requirements are for the high school exam in Spanish, both written and oral.
