About Sanjana

I’m a fluent, university-level Spanish speaker with over 10 years of language experience and years of teaching students ranging from age 3 to adults. Having previously lived in Spain, I bring real-world language skills to my lessons. I’m a patient, attentive tutor who focuses on building strong foundations through clear explanations, consistent practice, and structured review. Whether you’re just starting out, aiming to improve your skills, or preparing to test out of a school language requirement, I’ll support you every step of the way. I take pride in creating a positive, encouraging learning environment that helps students of all ages feel confident and capable.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Sanjana — a fluent, university-level Spanish speaker with 10+ years of language experience. I’ve taught students from age 3 through adults and previously lived in Spain.

My teaching method focuses on patience, repetition, and consistent practice. A typical lesson includes learning new material, reviewing previous concepts, working together on prompts and exercises, and (depending on the student’s level) monthly mini quizzes to track progress.

I have extensive experience introducing young learners to Spanish vocabulary, grammar, reading, and speaking comprehension, and I also enjoy working with adults at any level. My lessons are personalized, structured, and supportive, and I can help high school students prepare to test out of or waive their Spanish language requirement.

I work well with both children and adults and love helping students build strong foundations and real confidence in Spanish.
