About Caitlin
I am currently studying to achieve my Bachelor in Music with the intention of having a career in flute performance. I've spent many years of my life dedicated to music and am excited at the prospect of sharing my passion.

Caitlin McCracken is a multi-instrumentalist who began her musical journey at the age of eight with the Celtic fiddle and has been playing the flute for over ten years, studying both classical and Celtic traditions. She completed her Music Diploma at Capilano University and is currently continuing her studies at the University of British Columbia to achieve her Bachelor in Music, with her main instrument being flute. In 2023, Caitlin began teaching classical and Celtic flute privately and has also worked as an assistant fiddle instructor with the North Shore Celtic Ensemble, supporting and inspiring young musicians.
Caitlin brings passion and patience to her lessons, striving to keep music exciting and educational for her students. She uplifts her students by tailoring her lessons to each individuals goals and needs.

Perfect! She is friendly and patient. I noticed an improvement in my skills (as basic as they are) after the first lesson. She lets you learn at your own pace but will challenge you if you are up to it. I like that she asks how you think you did when you play something, rather than tell you how you did.
