I am a Certified Food Safety Instructor and I have taught College students, ranging from 25 to 30 students per session and I have been conducting training seminars pertaining to Food Safety and Hygiene for more than 10 years now.

As an experienced Food Technologist I conducted lectures on Food Safety, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Program and Food Sanitation to College students with 4 -year degree courses and 2-year courses.
I usually introduce the course by discussing the course requirements and the schedule of exams. I use powerpoint presentation as the basic tool of imparting knowledge and theories. Yet, I do believe that students learn by listening and seeing and making use of other senses that is why I include video presentations and visual aids such as required PPE's inside a food preparation area. Needless to say,classroom interactive discussion is one of the ingredients of a good learning experience.
The lessons shall be conducted on Module basis. In order to assess the students' learning progress and to evaluate if the course objectives are met, assignments and exams are administered after each course module.
