About Jason
I graduated with a Master's Degree in Marine Biology in 2021 and have experience in a multitude of biological fields. I enjoy spending my time outdoors and using my educational background to answer everyday questions and teach others about how our world works. I have taught basic biology at the college level as well as tutored students in genetics and molecular biology as well.

I believe many concepts within the biological sciences can be hard to understand without visualizing them. I like to provide real world examples or scenarios to help my students relate to the topics or create easier ways to recall the information when taking an exam. I tailor my teaching methods to match the needs of each student and will always strive to make sure my students succeed come exam time. I am well versed in a multitude of biological fields from basic biology, evolutionary biology, molecular biology, and genetics. I am published in the field of molecular systematics and phycology as well.
