About Emily
I have taught for over 10 years and it is one of my greatest passions. I love to see the those "light bulb" moments for my students when they finally grasp a new skill or concept. I taught online and hybrid during the COVID-19 pandemic so I am comfortable with both in-person or remote tutoring.

My lesson plans are tailored specifically to meet my students where they are at. I take pre and post data for each learning target, track progress, and make the learning accessible for all types of learners, including neurodiverse students and those with IEP's or 504's. One thing that sets me apart is my use of hands-on manipulatives for every skill. Together, we use these tools to scaffold the learning to ensure the student can be independent and proficient in every target area.

Perfect! She is great with my grandson and patient. He had his own ideas about what to study and she was all onboard. My grandson was so proud he had me take a picture of the two them and the whiteboard full of math problems to send to his teacher.
