I've been teaching and tutoring on and off for the past 15 years at multiple levels, including helping coach nationally ranked mathematics teams and being a former math competitor myself. I have a deep love and appreciation for mathematics that inspires my everyday life and artistic leanings. I'm comfortable working with students from all backgrounds and walks of life and with all kinds of needs.

Hi! I take a very hands on approach to learning, with a deep love of mathematics that I use in my everyday work as a designer and technical director in theater. I can break down any math content to its most basic principles and use examples from the lesson to help students overcome the idea that they aren't good at math or thy don't like math. Math surrounds our daily lives and a comprehension of its principles leads to a better understanding of the world we live in.
