My teaching method- having taught and studied in three different countries: Iran, France and Canada, and being familiar with three different educational systems- consists of encouraging students to take an active part of reflection and dialogue with their teacher throughout courses.
I have a PhD from Paris-Sorbonne in Comparative Literature, and experience in teaching french language and literature in university, school and institute levels.
I have a long experience teaching in two fields of french language and french literature, to all age levels and to both native English and native Persian students, and in different institutions: university, school and language schools. I also practiced private tutoring in the two fields mentioned above.
My approach in class is to encourage all students to arouse their curiosity in order that they take active part in class activities and team work. I have, actually, always avoided to be the only speaker in class, and this, everywhere that I taught.
As a tutor, I always consider that because of the closeness to the student and the fact that I have more time at my disposal for one or two students, I can be more efficient not only in teaching, but in interesting more and more the student to the matter, by customizing the lessons to her1his personal needs and interests.
