About Kalyn
Hi! My name is Kalyn Weir, and I’m here to make math and physics not just understandable, but actually fun! I believe that learning is an adventure, and every question is a clue waiting to be solved. I use games, cool experiments, and real-life stories to show how math and physics are all around us—from how the moon and earth move relative to each other to the way your skateboard moves. My goal is to help you feel confident, curious, and excited every time you learn something new. Together, we’ll turn “I can’t do it” into “I couldn’t do it yet, but I can do it now!” Let’s explore, discover, and have some fun with math and physics. Are you ready to become a science superstar?

I love to watch students minds begin to work until they finally reach that “aha!” moment. It is all in the ecstasy of explanation. For me, attending public education was troubling because I always tended to fall behind my peers. It had nothing to do with my skills, it was the way the material was being presented to me. Through my classes in college emphasizing human development I have learned a multitude of approaches to help navigate and scaffold students learning processes. I am here for the kids! To help them love learning and the process of such.
