About Tanya
I have graduated from the Mariposa Movement dance leadership program which provided me with the tools to be able to guide private movement sessions. I have training in Compassionate Inquiry which taught me how to tune into the energy of people I am working with to uncover what the body and its sensations are expressing. I have plenty of experience deeply communicating with people in various roles, including patients at a hospital and addiction treatment centre. Dance sessions involve communication and listening in a different way. In our classes together we see what is present for you in the moment and allow whatever arises, including emotions, to move through your body. I am able to be fully present with you to witness and guide you through this journey.

If you are looking to really embody your fullness, these classes are for you! Many people think that dancing is just about moving in a way that looks appealing but dance is so much more than that. These classes invite you to use dance as a tool to empower yourself and build the confidence to move in whatever way your body is guiding you, no matter how wild, furious or ``uncoordinated`` that may be. This gives people the permission to authentically express through movement, which in turn opens up a channel for creativity and connection to Spirit.
