About Jake
I got a 9 at GCSE, a B at A level, and throughout my years as an undergraduate student, have improved my skills with my French girlfriend, and thus spent a lot of time in France speaking with French people who aren’t able to speak English, and have taught French to university students, some who had previously done A level, for a year.

For grammatical practice: I would appreciate if you have a list of what you find difficult although if that is not known, I may be able to do a speaking or writing trial for part of the first lesson. We can then go through some exercises which I will prepare (unless it is requested on the spot) so that you can more fully understand specific concepts.
For casual conversation: this depends on the purpose but especially for those who have done A level and feel that they speak semi-robotically (as I felt I did) we can have casual conversations with pre-decided topics or otherwise with notes on grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary where necessary.
For speaking/reading practice: specifically where this applies to GCSE/A level, I can look into past papers and conduct some practice with you as necessary.
