About Favour
I am Anthony Favour, a French teacher. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, I see myself as a bridge between cultures. I help learners access new ways of thinking, feeling, and connecting that come with the French language.”
I teach French because language is more than words — it’s access. French opens doors to literature, art, philosophy, diplomacy, and 29 countries where it’s spoken. I teach it so my students can participate in a wider world, understand different perspectives, and express themselves with nuance and confidence. Watching a student go from ‘Bonjour’ to having a real conversation is why I do.

Did you know that French is often called the "language of the future"? While people associate it with Paris or literature, the heart of the language is actually in Africa, the continent is currently home to the majority of the world's French speakers, and that number is expected to triple by 2050.
I’m a French educator who’s spent the last four years helping people find their voice and tell their stories. Because of my background in curriculum design, I’ve realized that most people don’t actually struggle with the language itself—they struggle with the confidence to use it. That’s why I don’t believe in just throwing textbooks at you.
When we work together, the focus is on natural, human-centric conversation. I like to break down the "scary" parts of French, like phonetics and complex grammar, into simple building blocks that actually make sense. Whether you're a professional aiming for a global role or you're just starting out, we’ll skip the robotic jargon and focus on how people actually speak.
I’m really big on empathy and patience. Having built educational content for thousands of learners, I know that everyone has a different pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, because that's exactly how you get to fluency. We’ll talk about things that matter to you—real-world scenarios, professional networking, or even just culture—so that by the time you're done, you're not just translating words in your head, you're actually speaking with intent.
