I studied French Language Education at La Salle University with specialization in teaching complete beginners who feel intimidated by foreign languages. My 5 years of experience include working with students of all ages who have never studied a foreign language before and those who tried French once and felt it was too difficult. French seems scary? Don't worry - I make it super simple for everyone! Speaking - We start with easy words like "hello" (bonjour) and "thank you" (merci) and practice saying them slowly until they feel natural. Listening - We listen to very simple French words and phrases, repeated many times so your ears get used to French sounds gradually. Reading - We read basic French words and simple sentences, starting with words that look similar to English words. Vocabulary - We learn useful French words through pictures, games, and lots of repetition so they stick in your memory easily. Writing - We practice writing simple French sentences about things you like, starting with just a few words and building up slowly. Everything is broken down into tiny steps so you never feel confused or overwhelmed. If something doesn't make sense, we go over it again using different examples until it's clear!
