Super Tutor

Valérie is one of our best French tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Valérie

Hello, I graduated with a Teaching Degree 2 years ago and I started to do tutoring 5 years ago. I am very passionate about my profession, it makes me proud to see my students progress. I am really open-minded, I am used to teach to newcomers in Canada and I also taught in high schools in Senegal and in Spain. It would be a pleasure to meet you and help you progress!

About the lesson

I create personalized lessons based on the needs of the students and I want them to be the most interactive possible. I like to start the lesson with a little bit of conversation, then we see some theory or vocabulary and after we do exercises to practice what we just saw. I am very patient, thoughtful and encouraging with my students. I am qualified to teach to all levels and ages, from 6 years old to adults, and it can be beginner in French (A1) or more advanced, even native French speakers who want to improve their writing skills for example.

Perfect! Valérie is a fantastic French teacher who I highly recommend!

As a beginner, I have appreciated how her teaching style has helped me learn the fundamentals of the language. Using slide decks to organize her lessons, Valérie customizes each class based on the areas where I need the most help. Beyond how she designs her classes, Valérie is patient, thoughtful, and kind, which makes learning French much more fun.

All in all, if you want to learn the French language and have a fantastic experience doing, Valérie is the French teacher for you!

Val is such a caring, yet professional teacher. She's been an informal teacher to me during my first years in Quebec, Canada. I am always happy to revert back to her for French questions and have confidence in her skills.
