The most important thing when you learn a language is to master the basics and this is what I will focus on primarily. The specific rules that apply once in a blue moon should be learned afterwards, if at all. I like working with whiteboards as a medium and also use flashcards to help memorize vocabulary. I like giving homework, mostly in the form of small writing assignments. This can help me determine what you need to work on and I will adapt my lessons so that I can target your weaker points.
I am a CEGEP student in Gatineau. I have been tutoring my peers informally since I was in high school and have always had a passion for teaching. Next semester I will officially be tutoring people in French as part of a CEGEP program.
