About Poppy

I am a second year speech and language therapy student at the University of Sheffield, and I have worked as a nursery nurse part time since September 2023 to supplement my studies. I am a confident, positive person with a passion for language and I love being a member of the French Society at my university. I enjoy travelling and my favourite trip recently was my solo trip to Paris.

About the lesson

I tailor teaching towards GCSE and A level requirements and teach both methods proven effective for me, and those that you would like to develop skills in. For example: creating reading, writing, and listening activities to work through either independently or to go through questions with me. I can support both foundation and higher GCSE qualifications. Typical sessions will be an hour long and 1-1.

I generally conduct sessions on google meet, external from this site, as it has worked better for my students and allows them to have better value for money.

My degree is in speech and language therapy and I worked part time as a nursery nurse throughout my A levels. Teaching is my passion and I would love to be able to help GCSE and A level students reach their full potential in French.
