About Tamara

Hello, I’m Tamara, a London-based DJ and performer with years of experience playing in clubs, radio shows, and international events. Music has always been my passion, and DJing allows me to share that energy, creativity, and connection with others. I started teaching because I want to help aspiring DJs unlock their potential and gain the skills and confidence to perform with flair. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student nail a mix for the first time or develop their own unique style behind the decks. My approach is friendly, supportive, and professional. I focus on hands-on learning, breaking down techniques into manageable steps while encouraging creativity and experimentation. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate DJ aiming to perform live, I am here to guide you, share insider knowledge, and make learning DJing an inspiring and enjoyable journey.

About the lesson

As an active London-based DJ with professional club and radio experience, I bring real-world knowledge and creativity to every lesson. My goal is to help each student find their own style behind the decks, whether they are learning for fun, planning to perform live, or aiming to produce club-quality mixes. My teaching style is hands-on, supportive, and structured. I break down every concept into simple and practical steps, from beatmatching and phrasing to building energy in a set and reading a crowd. Students learn not just how to mix, but how to feel the music and build confidence performing. I have several years of experience performing across London venues, radio, and international gigs, working across genres such as techno, house, and chill electronic. This professional background allows me to share insider tips and help students understand both the art and the industry side of DJing. My lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced DJs, including complete newcomers learning their first mix, intermediate DJs wanting to tighten transitions and flow, and performers ready to move from bedroom sets to live gigs.
