About Rene
I have been a teaching assistent at the University of Vienna for two full semesters in introductory physics classes for first-year undergraduate physics students. There I assisted a group of 4-7 students in the weekly tutorials and answered any upcoming questions.
Moreover, I've privately tutored high school students or university students in lower semesters either in physics or mathematics every now and then. These were usually one-on-one sessions usually lasting for 1-2 hours once or twice a week, sometimes over several weeks.

I am an exchange student from Vienna, Austria, here in Leeds for my final undergraduate semester. I give lessons on maths up to A-Levels and also some of undergraduate mathematics, e.g. Linear Algebra or Real Analysis. I focus on a clear understanding of the topic. A benchmark for truly understanding something is to be able to explain it in simple terms such that a layman could comprehend it. The lessons can be given in person either at the students home or somewhere in public, e. g. on the University of Leeds campus if that is preferred. I'm also available for online session via Skype or something.
I myself am a passionate maths and physics student in my final undergraduate year starting my graduate degree this fall (either in North America, UK or Austria). I'm sociable and care about the success of my students in gaining knowledge or passing exams if that's their goal. I understand that not everybody is into maths but I suspect that's partly due to a rather dry and "learn this formula" approach in schools. I would try to give my lessons in a manner that allows the student to see the bigger picture and maybe even sparks an interest in mathematics.
P.S.: Apparently, I can't verify my telephone number because it is an Austrian one. Anyways, my number is: +(concealed information)90.
