About Jessica
I am a fully qualified teacher with a wide range of experience teaching and tutoring children with special educational needs in mainstream schools, special schools and 1:1 both online and in pupil’s homes.
I understand that children with SEND often find their school setting unsuitable and that many are left without an education while waiting for a better fit.
I usually teach 30mins of English followed by 30mins of maths at the pupil’s current level but can also teach an hour of both if that suits the individual’s needs.
I can also teach a range of foundation subjects to offer a broad and balanced curriculum in line with what children receive in UK schools.

Many parents find themselves in a difficult situation when their child’s school placement is unsuitable. I offer specialist SEN tutoring online so that pupils can learn from the safety and comfort of their own home.
Our sessions will be tailored to the pupil and based on their interests in a way that links learning to the national curriculum.
Pupils with ASD and ADHD have often received negative feedback from educational settings due to behaviours outside of their control. I aim to combat the negative association many children develop towards learning by offering a patient, positive and supportive approach to helping them meet their learning goals.
