About Sage

"With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the honor of teaching guitar to 1500–2000 high school and college students. What keeps me going every day is the joy of seeing students discover their power through music. I believe that learning guitar is more than just learning music — it’s learning discipline, patience, creativity, and how to express your emotions in a healthy way. I create lessons that inspire and encourage students, while adapting to their pace and learning style. Throughout my journey, I’ve helped students achieve personal goals like playing in front of an audience for the first time, writing their first song, and even passing music school auditions. Each of these moments is a reminder that great things happen when students feel seen and supported. My teaching style is shaped by real-life examples, motivation, and flexible lesson planning. I focus on building not just skills, but confidence. I work to make sure every student leaves each lesson feeling a little more proud of themselves. I’m passionate about helping students not only play better but become stronger, more confident individuals. Let’s make music — and growth — happen together."

About the lesson

"My teaching style for Guitar is based on real-life examples and case studies. I believe learning becomes easier when students can relate lessons to real situations. Instead of only using theory, I bring in stories of real musicians, bands, and performances. I explain how they overcame struggles and how they practiced and improved. For example, when teaching a chord progression, I might show how a famous song uses it. This helps students understand where and how to use what they learn. I also include case studies of beginners who became skilled through practice and smart learning. This shows students that growth is possible. I encourage my students to share their own music experiences too. Whether it’s a favorite song or a challenge they faced, we use it as part of the lesson. This keeps learning fun, personal, and connected to real goals. Besides Guitar, I use the same method to teach related subjects like music theory or songwriting. I link each concept to examples from the real world. This helps students see how the subject is useful, not just in class, but in life."
