About Sonya
I am a native English speaker with a professional background in business and communication. I enjoy helping students improve their English through real conversation and supportive guidance. My lessons focus on real conversation practice to help you build true confidence when speaking English. I believe that learning a language is about more than just words; it is about helping you cross a threshold of self-expression. When you can speak in another language, your world, your confidence, and your opportunities all expand.
We begin each session with a short introduction and simple questions to help you warm up and feel at ease. From there, we move into natural conversation through guided discussion, where we practice vocabulary and pronunciation in a way that feels authentic.
Throughout our time together, I correct mistakes gently and explain grammar only when it is needed to help you move forward. We end every lesson with practical feedback and tips you can use immediately to improve your speaking and listening skills. My goal is to be a supportive mentor who helps you find your voice and unlock the world through English.
