About Goodness

Hi there! My name is Goodness I know maths can generally feel overwhelming - been there, done that. But I also know that once things really click, Maths can also feel very enjoyable- also been there (yes, maths was my favourite subject in school). My goal is to help you reach that “aha!” moment, where the problems make sense and you feel more confident about tackling questions on your own. Since I’ve just finished my exams, I know exactly what the exams are like right now, meaning I can share tips, shortcuts and revision strategies that not only work for me, but also helped my friends with their exams. I want you to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when you started

About the lesson

I recently completed my A-Levels, achieving an A* in Maths and an A in Further Maths. I also got a 9 in GCSE Maths and an 8 in GCSE Further Maths. I also took part in the Maths Tutoring programme in my Sixth-form where I helped other students in different levels with Maths topics they found particularly challenging. I offer tutoring for: GCSE Maths for 13-16 year olds GCSE Further Maths for 14-16 year olds A-Level Maths for 16-18 year olds A-Level Further Maths for 16-year-olds My lessons are: - TAILORED to your level: whether you’re aiming for a pass or pushing for an A* - INTERACTIVE: I work through examples with you until you feel confident attempting a similar question on your own; I also emphasise the importance of exam questions and past papers - SUPPORTIVE: I’ve been in your shoes very recently, so I understand what techniques work best and understand exactly how you feel about these exams. Lessons are typically 1 hour, but I also offer 1.5 hour sessions for A-Level students who prefer more in-depth practice. I can also offer a free 30-minute trial lesson to see if my style works for you. Let’s work together to boost not just your grades, but also your confidence in Maths!
