About Keito

Hi there! My name is Keito, who is a native Japanese born and raised in Tokyo! Currently living in Ireland, I am incredibly excited to share my native language and culture with you. Before moving here, I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Interactive Media Design in Canada and spent several years working in hospitality and tour coordination across Canada, New Zealand, and Japan.

Because I have lived and studied in multiple countries, I know exactly what it feels like to learn a new language, feel nervous about speaking, and navigate a new culture. That is why I became a tutor—to be the encouraging, patient, and friendly guide that I wish I had when I was learning English!

Outside of teaching, I love art and craft, exploring new cities, and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. I am a very open, warm, and helpful person, and I cannot wait to support you on your journey to becoming a confident Japanese speaker. Let's make learning Japanese the best part of your week!
