About John
I am a full-time guitarist, composer, session musician, blogger and creator, and I have been teaching music for 6 years. I graduated top of my class from Red Deer College in 2017 with a diploma in music specializing in an electric guitar with a minor in classical guitar, and I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance/Composition at world-renown performing arts school at Capilano University.

My teaching style focuses on what the student wants to achieve by learning a musical instrument. I have the ability to understand the end goal that the student has in mind and create a custom course for them to achieve their own personal musical goals. With my advanced knowledge in music and experience in music education, I am able to explain concepts in a straight forward and simple manner, and while we move through your custom course together, I will be able to guide you in any way you desire.
