About Bill

I am a friendly and approachable teacher dedicated to the progress of my pupils. I have a whole host of teaching resources that I have built over the years in my teaching career to enable students to reach their full potential in the core 4 skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing). I am also well versed in the mark schemes and provide formative feedback to help students improve. I try to make fun, engaging and stimulating.

About the lesson

Hola a todos, I am a fully qualified Spanish teacher offering online Zoom or Teams lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils including GCSE and A level. I have worked as a Spanish teacher in various secondary schools including comprehensive and grammar schools. I have ample experience teaching both the AQA and Edexcel Specifications for GCSE and A level and have taught years 7-9 throughout my teaching career. The quality of my lessons was rated as Outstanding in lesson observations according to the Teaching Standards UK and several of my students have gone on to study at Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities. I am fully proficient and fluent in Spanish having resided and worked in both Spain and Mexico and have a Master's in Specialised Translation from UCL. I also have a First Class Honours degree in Spanish from The University of Nottingham. A have also worked as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter for the NHS and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. My lessons are delivered online via zoom or Teams and I will share my PowerPoint Presentations and Resources with you after our lessons.
