About Sirine

Hello! I'm Sirine, a University of Toronto student with a passion for teaching. With 8 years of experience in tutoring I've honed a teaching style that's both fun and effective. I believe in creating a vibrant learning environment where kids are both challenged and supported.

My Approach: I focus on making math lessons engaging and interactive, helping students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop a genuine interest in math. I'm adept at tailoring my teaching methods to suit each child's unique learning style, ensuring they feel confident and motivated.

Commitment to Excellence: As a UofT student, I bring a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and a commitment to continuous learning. My goal is to foster a positive and inquisitive attitude towards math, laying a solid foundation for my students' future academic success.

I look forward to helping your child discover the joy and excitement in math!

Personalized Learning Experience: Every child is unique, and so is their learning journey. My lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. Whether your child is just starting with basic arithmetic or advancing towards more complex concepts like fractions and geometry, I ensure the lessons align with their learning pace and style.

Engaging and Fun Methods: I believe learning math should be enjoyable! My lessons are packed with interactive activities, games, and real-life examples. This approach not only makes math fun but also helps students understand and retain concepts more effectively.

Building a Strong Foundation: The early years of math education are crucial for setting a strong foundation. My focus is on ensuring that students grasp fundamental concepts thoroughly. This strong base will not only help them in higher grades but also foster a lifelong appreciation for math.

Encouraging Curiosity and Confidence: I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are welcomed, and mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities. I aim to boost each student's confidence in their mathematical abilities, encouraging them to explore and solve problems creatively.

Regular Feedback and Progress Tracking: Parents are integral to their children's learning journey. I provide regular updates on your child's progress and am always open to feedback and discussions about how we can further support your child's learning.
