About Joyce
I am a passionate flute player and teacher currently studying at the Royal College of Music. I have been playing the flute for 9 years and have around 4 years of teaching experience. I have taught privately, in schools and as a band tutor, working with both individual students and groups. I am able to teach students of any age and have particularly enjoyed working with young children and beginners. I love helping students discover the flute and develop their confidence as musicians in a fun and supportive environment.

I place a strong emphasis on building good foundations from the beginning. Lessons are tailored to each student's age, ability and goals whether this be short-term lessons for students preparing for auditions, exams, or concert, or for anyone who simply wants a boost in their playing and some focused guidance.
Lessons are available online or in person, with the option for me to travel to the student's home. Whether you're completely new to the flute, returning to the instrument or looking to take your playing to the next level, I would love to help!
