I’m a passionate music educator with 17 years of experience teaching music, specializing in beginners and elementary-aged students. My lessons are fun, practical, and focused on making music from the very beginning—not just learning exercises and theory. I use a modern band approach that gets students playing real songs while building strong musical skills, confidence, and creativity. I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, trumpet, and general musician skills, and I strive to make every lesson encouraging, engaging, and tailored to the individual student.
My lessons are fun, beginner-friendly, and hands-on! Students learn chords and musical skills, jam along with songs, develop their own ideas, and even create music digitally using online platforms. Every lesson includes a variety of activities designed to build confidence, creativity, and real-world musicianship.

Perfect! It was great working with Stephen! He came very prepared for the lesson and made everything easy to follow. He introduced me to some new exercises and we talked through some songs I can start working on to help me get back into practicing.
- It was awesome meeting Julia and getting to know her journey on the bass guitar. She is motivated with clear goals and a solid foundation to start with. Communicates great and was on time and prepared for her lesson! A+See the response Stephen :
