About Anitra
Hello! My name is Anitra, and I’m an experienced music educator with over 15 years of teaching piano to students of all ages and skill levels. I am the founder of a successful online and in-person music school and have helped hundreds of students build confidence, master technique, and express themselves through music. I combine patience, creativity, and structure to make learning fun and effective. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the piano after years away, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Music is my passion, and I love sharing that joy with every student I teach.

As a passionate and experienced music educator, I believe that learning should be both structured and joyful. My teaching method blends foundational technique with creativity, aiming to build confident, expressive musicians who truly enjoy the learning process. Every student is unique, so I adapt my approach based on their goals, age, and learning style.
A typical lesson with me includes a warm-up to strengthen technique, theory-based note reading or rhythm exercises, and hands-on song practice tailored to the student's level and interests. I often include games, ear training, and singing to reinforce learning in a fun, interactive way.
What sets me apart is the way I connect with students—I make learning feel like an adventure, not a chore. With over 15 years of experience teaching piano and running Anitra’s School of Music, I’ve helped students of all ages—from young beginners to adults—discover their musical voice. I also bring real-world knowledge from the music industry to guide students who want to explore songwriting, performance, or music technology.
These lessons are perfect for beginners to intermediate-level students, including kids ages 5 and up, teens, and adults returning to piano. Whether you're learning for fun, preparing for performances, or exploring music as a creative outlet, I’d love to help you reach your musical goals.
