About Valeria

Just like you, a few years ago I decided to take the step of taking Portuguese classes, I was really very excited because I love Brazilian music and even though I knew the lyrics, when I wanted to speak it I did not know how to do it, so that was one of my main motivations. I started taking Portuguese courses and little by little my passion for the language grew as did my ability to speak and understand it better. It was because of this that I really felt that I wanted to transmit my taste for Portuguese to other people since I always found myself sharing things in Portuguese in my day-to-day life and my friends and family ended up catching my emotion, so if you want to learn Portuguese with me ... Or what are you waiting for?

About the lesson

As I mentioned earlier, I am a student of the Bachelor of English Teaching so I have enough knowledge to develop study plans and teach classes. I teach Portuguese level A1, A2, B1 and B2 aimed at all ages; children, adolescents and adults. My methodology is based on the learning styles of my students because I consider that it is essential to take this into account before teaching a class since knowing how my students learn more easily I can adapt the methods and activities that I will carry out during it. . For example, if my student turns out to be auditory, his material and class activities will be more focused on listening to audios, videos, songs, reading aloud, explaining what he understood about a topic, even singing if the student likes the idea, etc. Listening and knowing the needs of my students is very important to me since my main objective is that they feel comfortable and satisfied with their progress and results in the language.
